Some suggestions for accommodation are listed below. It is the responsibility of individual participants to organise their own accommodation for the duration of the conference. University accommodation fills up quickly and you are therefore advised to make your reservations as far in advance as possible.

University Accommodation
All are within easy walking distance of the British Museum. These halls of residence are equipped for student usage; their furnishings are functional rather than elegant. They are listed in no particular order of preference.

Travelodge Hotels
There are three Travelodge Hotels in the vicinity of the British Museum. Rooms are charged by the room, not by the number of people in them, and it may therefore be possible to book a 'family room' that will sleep 4 people (with a double bed and a sofabed that converts into two single beds). Room prices operate on an airline-style 'better deals if booked early' system, so it may be possible to book a room for £29 per night if you book early enough. This is not the case at any of the Travelodges near the British Museum, however, which currently have a promotional rate of £91-£95 per night.
